Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled its first ever free-to-play Console MMORPG, named Bless Unleashed. While not much has been disclosed yet, the few screenshots and artwork, as well as the game’s basic info seem compelling enough to fuel curiosity.

The new MMORPG, developed by Round 8 Studio of NEOWIZ and to be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment America, is being built for Console using the Power of Unreal Engine 4 to ensure “Deep Combo-Driven Gameplay and Visually Stunning Graphics”, and is set to become “one of the most stunning MMORPGs produced on a console platform.”

Bless Unleashed takes place in a world of wilderness with “a rich backstory created with hardcore MMO gamers in mind.” With deep combo-driven mechanics, player customization and cooperative (PvE) and competitive (PvP) multiplayer, Bless Unleashed is expected to offer an “endless amount of content and gameplay possibilities to keep players engaged. Players will be able to enter an open persistent world where mythical beasts roam the land with integrated players-vs-player (PVP) mode. Bless Unleashed will feature five classic fantasy classes.

“Bless Unleashed is a game that takes the gameplay depth and community of an MMORPG and sets itself apart to create a new console RPG experience featuring fast-paced combat and beautifully rendered graphics,” said In-Joon Hwang, Sr. Director, Online Publishing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “Every aspect, from the story to the combat, to the skill progression has been carefully crafted to portray a new console MMORPG experience.”

Bless Unleashed will first be released for the Xbox One family of devices, it was announced, including the Xbox One X, in 2019.
