NEWS ➢ Dungeon-Crawler RPG Immortal Darkness Now F2P

Indie game studio Giant Space Monster have discontinued the sale of their single-player action RPG Immortal Darkness on Steam and made it completely free on their website in an updated version for PC (Windows).

Steam discontinuation and giveaway

Following 4 years of relatively low sales on Steam despite being positively reviewed, veteran developer Chris Shrigley decided to remove the game from Steam and make it completely free via the game’s website. There is “no spyware, no crypto miners, no malware, no data gathering or snooping, and no in-app purchases or paywalls! Just install anywhere and play“.

The developer, Chris Shrigley said, “We wanted to let more people play the game, and so in the spirit of the Holiday season, we decided to make it available to everyone to download and play for free. It’s our gift to gamers everywhere, and we hope people enjoy playing the game over the Holidays.
More details about the move are provided by Chris Shrigley in his blog post: (http://shrigley.com/a-celebration-some-closure-and-giving-it-all-away/)
