Bucketplay Inc has announced that its upcoming free-to-play, crossplay e-sports game based on basketball, Metaball, will launch globally in Q4, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S.
Metaball can be played now as a demo on PC (Windows) during the ongoing Steam Sports Fest (from May 15 to May 22), and when it returns during the Steam Next Fest (from June 19 to June 26). Players can try out the demo which includes multiplayer matches.
The Demo for the current Steam Sports Fest will be removed from the Steam Store on May 29th at 19:00 PM PDT.
Metaball is a free, cross-play, online multiplayer basketball-inspired sports game that combines fast-paced movement, exciting 1v1 to 5v5 ranked matches, and sophisticated team play. The game has been in development for over 4 years and is expected to launch globally in Q4, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S. It features various game modes such as quick match, ranked, and private match.
