The Epic Store has partnered with game publisher Bethesda Softworks to give anyone a free copy of horror FPS classic DOOM 64 for PC (Windows) from August 18 through to August 25, as part of the store’s weekly giveaway event. The game can be downloaded directly via Epic’s game launcher.

The DOOM 64 Giveaway

The game, a very nice gift otherwise sold around $5, can be downloaded for Windows, directly from the new Epic store at https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/doom-64, from August 18 through to August 25! The game requires an Intel Core i5-750 or better, an R7 240, GTX 660 or Intel HD 530 graphics card or chip, as well as 8 GB Ram, and some disk space. The free version is available with Text in : English, French, German, Italian, Spanish – Spain.

About DOOM 64

Originally released on Nintendo 64 in 1997, DOOM 64 is a horror-themed action first-person shooter and a direct sequel to the events of DOOM II. In celebration of DOOM’s 25th anniversary, an enhanced version of DOOM 64 was released on PC and consoles in 2020 and can now be played here.
