Rather than opting for a sequel to their award-winning skateboarding game, Electronic Arts announced the upcoming release of Skate by Full Circle studio, which will be free to play and cross-platform on PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

Interested players can register now at https://www.ea.com/games/skate/insider-playtest-registration for a chance to participate in the upcoming beta tests. As a “skate. insider”, you can play early versions of the game and provide feedback throughout the development journey. However, access to skate. must be scaled gradually as development progresses to ensure a smooth experience, which means they can’t guarantee how soon you’ll be granted access.

Skate is a skateboarding video game franchise that started in 2007 with the release of the first edition, followed by two sequels, Skate 2 (2009) and Skate 3 (2010). In June 2020, EA announced plans for a new Skate game, which was confirmed in July 2022 as an impeding free to play and cross platform game for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
