The popular DRM-free and Indie games-friendly platform Itch.io is giving away free copies of Magical Otoge Iris, a visual novel game for PC (Windows, Linux and Mac) normally sold 20 USD, courtesy of the game’s developer Batensan and Itch.io. It isn’t known how long the gift will remain available for.

The game is otherwise priced around 20 USD, and is a fine visual novel that deserves a place in your game collection/library if you are a fan of the genre. Moreover, this is a DRM-free version which allows you to transfer your copy anywhere you want and to duplicate it as much as you like (for your own use).
The game can either be added to an Itch.io account/library, or downloaded directly. It isn’t known how long the giveaway event will last.

About Magical Otoge Iris

This game is a visual novel with choices affecting the ending. After clearing the game once, a guide will appear in the Extras that explains how to get the Good/Bad Ends.
Iris works as a Purifier, a person who helps souls of the deceased move on to the afterlife. Her fate changes after coming into contact with the Magicians, half-immortal beings who watch over the MO worlds. Interacting with them, the mystery of the MO worlds’ origins will come to light.
