NEWS ➢ Ghostbusters World Pre-Registration Now Open

Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Ghost Corps and publisher FourThirtyThree Inc. have today opened pre-registration for the upcoming mobile AR game Ghostbusters World. Pre-Registration also comes with a special recruitment trailer, released 2 days ago, but with no sign of goodies yet.

About Ghostbusters World

Ghostbusters World is a long awaited free-to-play map-based AR game based on The Ghostbusters franchise, launching later this month (expected October 22) on iOS and Android devices, that “puts a proton pack and ghost trap in players’ hands in case there’s something strange in your neighborhood”.

Team up with Venkman, Spengler, Stantz, Zeddemore and more to hunt down and capture iconic spirits from the films, TV shows, comic books, and video games, as well as brand-new ghosts in your own backyard. Once you complete your collection, train your own ghost squad to bust rogue spirits in the Story Mode, written and illustrated by the minds behind the IDW comic book series.

Where and Why Pre-Register?

Prospective Ghostbusters rookies can sign up today for iOS at this link and Android at this link to pre-register for global release, which is expected to be on October 22, 2018. Are there any benefits in doing so? Well, apart from making sure you can get to play right when the game is released, there doesn’t seem to be any other benefit associated with this pre-registration. Many games tend to offer gifts to players who pre-register, mostly as a way to create hype around the game and its release, but there have been no mention of pre-registration goodies so far with respect to Ghostbusters World. There must be something strange in THEIR neighborhood! Was this article useless then? Kind of… but this page will be updated if anything more comes up.
